Nestled in the historic Old Las Palmas area of Palm Springs lies the gorgeous Casa de Monte Vista, a dream wedding venue and an absolute muse for Palm Springs wedding photographers, like myself.

This old Spanish estate is similar to that of a secret Spanish garden and is absolutely brimming with sheer beauty and elegance. And it was here that Anita and Edgar decided to say those precious “I do’s” and dedicate their lives to one another.

To say that this Palm Springs wedding was simply magical would be an understatement. The weather behaved as best it could, being warm yet comfortably so, the gardens were lush, the mountain views were impeccable, and it was as if hidden gems were to be found upon each twist and turn. All was so charmingly intimate, making Casa de Monte Vista the perfect place for these two love birds to tie the knot.

What was even more fantastical to witness was the way in which the bride and groom looked at one another. With pure love and lust in their eyes, their passionate fondness could almost be felt by everyone lucky enough to be there. It was entirely  obvious that they were completely in love with one another and that made everything that much more special.

Getting to know them on a more personal level too made this day a moment to remember. And by doing so, I was able to encapsulate who they really were as individuals and as a couple. I strived to capture their easy-going, fun, and playful sides as well as their head-over-heels in love sides, like a perfect dichotomy that made everyone smile.

And then, of course, there was the moment that Edgar danced (yes, danced!) down the aisle, inching his way closer to the love of his life. You see, both partners decided to celebrate the bride’s Indian heritage by wearing a traditional Indian Varmala, and Edgar too decided to dance down the aisle to Indian music that filled the room with joy and good cheer. A sight that warmed (and even melted) our hearts.

So, dear Anita and Edgar, I hope that you adore your wedding photos as much as I adored taking them. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day (and even ushering me over for a tequila shot with you!). I was, and still am, in awe of how magnificently your spirits fuse together to make one incredible couple, and how you compliment one another with your individual and unique personalities. Here’s to many more years of happiness together, which I am certain will be incredible.
